Structure and material in tension. Built, obstructed, revealed. Geometry is not applied, but uncovered through matter. What remains is what resists. I explore the tension between organic flow and imposed structure, with material as a point of impact. The work is a field reading — of forces, of flows, of density, of forms. Tension, density, and circulation run through the work.
ARTISTIC APPROACH
My practice explores structure through material. I build, obstruct, and reveal surfaces. I’m not trying to tell a story. I construct relationships between forms, lines, and color. What interests me is tension, balance, and movement within the image. Each piece is an exploration, not an answer. My work reflects a sensitivity to balance, an obsession with connection, and a pursuit of visual coherence.
MATERIALS & TECHNIQUE
I work with acrylic, pigments, sand, and mineral materials. The material is not controlled; it responds. What remains is shaped as much by resistance as by intention.
ABOUT MI
I choose to move against what I often feel internally. Not to pretend, not to escape, but to define a direction in my work. For a long time, I thought: if I don’t put my story into the work, then there is nothing. In reality, I do the opposite of a traumatic projection. I don’t paint chaos. I construct spaces where it no longer exists. My practice is rooted in distance, control, and clarity. I choose restraint over overflow, construction over release. This is not emptiness. It is a decision. My work refuses heavy narratives. Through simplified forms and vivid colors, I create a place where tension is held, not exposed.
